NATURAL WORLD KENYA SAFARIS

With our one weekend off in Kenya, Patty and I decided to squeeze in a quick safari. We chose Natural World Kenya Safaris because they offered two-day, private tours including accommodations. They did NOT disappoint. We were blown away by the entire experience.

DAY ONE, LAKE NAKURU

Our first day was exactly what you would expect from a safari. We boarded our vehicle and began searching for animals. The freeways leading up to Lake Nakuru were lined with Zebra and Baboons. This being said, we were optimistic that we would see some animals. Once inside the park we saw Rhino, Giraffes, Zebra, Warthogs, Monkey, Flamingo, and so much more. I felt like I was in the Lion King. I could not peal my eyes away from the magic in front of me.

Per my request, I asked if we could stay at the Lake Naivasha Country Club that evening. This place was unreal! Zebras, Giraffes, and Hippos roamed the grass. The food was incredible, the service topnotch, and the hotel was absolutely stunning. Safety was their priority and staff would walk you to-and-from your room because of the Hippos.

DAY TWO, LAKE NAIVASHA

After a delectable breakfast at the Country Club, we began our second day of the safari. We boarded a canoe to spot Hippos. Little did we know how many Hippos were beneath us…and how dangerous Hippos are, killing humans just for fun. We luckily survived and began a safari on foot.

We were within touching distance of a herd of Zebra and Giraffes. I have never experienced anything like this in my life.

Two days was nowhere near enough time to take in all of Kenya’s beauty. But I have no doubts that Natural World Kenya Safaris is the company to tour with! I cannot wait to go again and hopefully see a Lion!
